It was a pleasure to present at the 2026 Missouri Natural Resource Conference  in Osage Beach, Missouri. This experience was both exciting and rewarding, and it was a great opportunity to share research and engage with others in the field.

Undergraduate student Maris Woodruff presented her research on " White-tailed Deer Densities to Guide an Urban Hunt Program in Southeast Missouri " at the 2026 Missouri Natural Resource in Osage Beach, MO. This was Maris' very first professional conference, and she absolutely nailed it! Huge congratulations to you, Maris!!!

Undergraduate student Sam Girard showcased his research titled "Red-winged Blackbird Reproductive Outcomes as Indicators of Wetlands Restoration Efforts in Southeast Missouri" at the 2026 Missouri Natural Resource Conference in Osage Beach, MO. This was Sam's first professional conference, and he did an outstanding job! Huge congratulations to you, Sam!!!

Dr. Fidel Atuo delivered an engaging seminar exploring how oil and gas infrastructure influences wildlife conservation, with a focus on the spatial ecology and population dynamics of Mississippi kites.
